Swing a hammer with Habitat for Humanity Texas at the second Day at the Dome Capitol Build on June 9th and help build all the walls for a home in three hours! These walls will then be signed, sealed, and delivered to Killeen where it will be finished for a Veteran and his wife who are raising their three grandchildren.
Two types of volunteer shifts are available the day of the event: Construction Leader and Construction Volunteer. No prior building experience is needed for the Construction Volunteer shift.
Additional volunteer opportunities are available June 8th (the day before the Capitol Build). The Construction Leader (JUNE 8) will help cut and prepare the building materials for the Capitol Build on June 9th. Individuals are welcome to sign up for Construction Leader both days!
All volunteers who sign up by Wednesday, May 4, 2022 will receive a free official 2022 Day at the Dome t-shirt.
